Singapore has a national-level accreditation programme called the NS Mark that honours companies and organisations that have human resources policies and practises that promote national service and total defence. The certification programme was created by the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), the Singapore Armed Forces, and several stakeholder organisations.
